1.Regardless of your past failures or current difficulties, you can and must believe in yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself, you will never be able to convince anyone else to believe in you.

2. You will get a Second Chance. People have short memories. In life, there are many second chances, and sometimes even a third or fourth chance. It’s amazing how quickly people forgive and forget mistakes. Looking back you will regret the chances you did not take rather than the ones you did which did not work out.

3. Start Your Own Business. Whether it’s part-time to begin with, acting as an agent, or consulting a few customers alongside your existing job, start your own business and be proud about what you do. You will never get rich working for someone else.

4. If you wait for the perfect time you will never start anything. This applies to business and your personal life. If I look back at some of my earlier websites, sales letters and course material I cringe, but it was the best I could do at the time and it made money. Spending days formulating a corporate identity or logo is not going to get the money in. If you rehearse and rehearse the curtain will never go up.winston-churchill-quotes-1

5. You will not make money from ideas, its execution (doing something) that will make you rich. Also don’t worry about being the first and only and don’t be put off when people say “That’s already been done” you can still do well being second, third or even tenth.

6. Criticism is part of the game.  Aristotle said “To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing” In business and life you will get criticised some fair some not so fair you will know deep down, if its un warranted move on and forget about it, if it is true, learn from it, I have turned unhappy customers in to some of my best customers.

7. Forget the doom and gloom end of the world headlines, also forget about the good old days nostalgia, you live in the now and future. There are an abundance of opportunities to make money in a world-wide market, yes you can sell to someone in Arkansas from your bedroom in Oldham!
